Creditors and their appointed bailiffs - Did you know.....

December 12, 2016

Did you know that creditors (such as your council) should be reminded that enforcement agents are acting on their behalf and that ultimately they are responsible, and accountable, for the enforcement agents acting on their behalf.

It is important to know who the creditor is when speaking with your council regarding business rate debts and payment plans.

If you are advised to deal with their appointed bailiffs, remind the representative that they are the creditor and that all offers of repayment have to be considered.
