The situation with the National Health Service is that too bright. The NHS is facing lots of challenges in its existence, even with business rates.
There are many factors contributing to this situation, but the main one is a financial factor. Rising cost of services, very high cost of energy and supplies etc. – all could spell out a massive economic disaster for the NHS.
Because even the NHS has to pay business rates.
Hospitals are made to pay business rates, while at the same time, the Government is trying to find the money to put into NHS.
The Royal London hospital will pay in business rates 9 million pounds during 2018.
Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt was urged to exempt hospitals from business rates to save the NHS 400 million pounds but claim Minister block the attempts.
