Local Small Business Owner Victimised by Manchester City Council

05 Nov 2020

Abid Halim is the proprietor of Shoe Box on Dickenson Road in Longsight. Like many small businesses, Mr. Halim is entitled to small business rates relief. However, Manchester City Council has repeatedly refused to grant it. Instead, Manchester City Council has served Mr. Halim with a Bankruptcy Petition, in spite of the fact that Mr. Halim does not owe Manchester City Council anything at all. The hearing will be on 17th November.

It is depressing how some council authorities have denied the Covid 19 business grants to their own business clients, by making excuses or by dragging out the process so that they run out of time. I ought to put up the council shame list for all to see. Nothing changes with these councils, still ran by the same psychotic dictators who literally make hundreds of peoples lives a total misery.

I have managed to get over 200 grants paid out since March for businesses that were initially denied them.

Dont let your council rip you off.
